Both high-ranking Tier 1 tournaments demanded the highest standards in internet broadcasting. Having implemented a dedicated high-capacity uplink from the Dubai Tennis Stadium, Slipstream worked together with an Australian production company to produce the video-audio content. Using what was cutting edge Linux based software at the time (this was years before Youtube and Flash Media) , Slipstream was able to achieve compression and distribution rates among the best the world had seen, achieving a stream of such high quality out of the Middle East it was seen to be an outstanding technical success.

The world media companies took notice. Slipstream was subsequently asked to present its services to the ATP and WTA tournament director’s in Wimbledon later that year.
